Gates from 9am, briefing at 10am. Please try to arrive and get your kit sorted out promptly so we can fit in as many games as possible. If you’re hiring from us, aim to arrive around 09:30am so we can issue your kit and show you the ropes.
By car – Head to Crail and take the road out to the east (coming from St Andrews this will be a left at the roundabout in the centre of Crail, from Anstruther it will be straight on at the roundabout, signposted “Crail Golfing Society”).
Follow the road out of Crail towards Balcomie. There are some trees after about one mile. Turn left and follow the concrete road to the gate at the top. Fife Wargames will be signposted “FWG” at the turning, opposite Crail Raceway.
Please respect our neighbours by driving with consideration through Crail village, and keep your speed to 10mph once off the main road.
As you go through the gate, the parking area is to the right.
The postcode for satnav is KY10 3XL, but this covers a large area so it’s best to just use it to get you to Crail and then follow our directions from there. (You must go through Crail village – satnav has been known to attempt impassable shortcuts – obey all signage!)
By bus – take the Stagecoach 95 service (click here for timetable)
By helicopter – tactical insertion and uplift should be arranged well in advance – check with coast guard and local CAA office.
